Hi, I'm Luke

1995

Making violins in Korea

I started playing the violin at 7, and began making violins in 1995 while living in Korea.

1998

A new start in Auckland

My family moved to New Zealand in 1998. I spent more than 15 years in a violin shop as a violin maker and strings specialist.

Melbourne

Learning from a master

My work took me to Melbourne to work alongside master string specialist John Hewitt.

Today

String Medic

Now I run my own workshop in Mount Roskill. Whether it's a service, a repair or a custom instrument, I use only the best materials and techniques.
